The Paddon name has been part of residential building for three generations.

Gerry Paddon grew up in a North Shore home built by his grandfather, Gerald Paddon, who built houses across the area through the 1950s and 60s. His father, Bruce Paddon, carried that work forward on Vancouver Island, where he has spent nearly 30 years building custom homes.

Gerry learned the trade in that environment. He grew up around job sites, tools, framing, finishing, problem-solving, and the kind of standards that are hard to teach in a classroom. Years spent working alongside his father gave him a practical understanding of how homes are put together, how details should be finished, and how small issues can affect the way a home feels day to day.

GP Squared brings that experience back to the North Shore in a focused way.

This is not a large contracting company or a renovation firm with layers of handoff. GP Squared is an owner-led repair and maintenance business for homeowners, condo owners, Realtors, and property managers who need practical work done properly.

Gerry handles punch lists, suite repairs, finishing fixes, drywall, trim, doors, caulking, decks, railings, and the small-to-medium jobs that keep a property safe, functional, and looked after.

When you reach out, you deal directly with Gerry. He is clear about what he can take on, honest about what falls outside his scope, and respectful of the home from start to finish. If a job needs a permit, a general contractor, or a licensed trade, he will say so upfront.

The goal is simple: do the work properly, keep the process straightforward, and leave the property in better shape than he found it.
